So I am Jewish and that means I have to have my bar mitzvah, and it just so happens that my bar mitzvah is coming up very soon so I just wanted to show what its all about and what I personally have to do. I have been studying for this thing for close to a year, I have to learn how to sing a bunch of prays in HEBREW, So I have to learn a bunch of songs in another language. (cue eye rolling emoji) I also have to read from the Torah (the holy scrolls) it just so happens to be in Hebrew too. so you can probably see why I have to do so much studying. There is a good part though, we get to have lots of very good food actually we are having crepes. one more thing some people who come bring gifts soo... If you are coming you know what to do.

One very important trait for a president is being calm. That is very important because they just can't freak out at people they need to be able to work with other people. This trait is also very important because if they are not calm they could end up using a nuke at a bad time and getting in a horrible war.
Another important trait for a president is good decision making. The president needs to know what good laws are that they should suggest. The president needs to know what deals are good to make with the leaders of other countries. One final very important trait for a president is just being nice. A president needs to be able to have his people's support and their respect or they can't work with everyone and help. If they are nice the leaders of other countries won't get mad at them as easily, and if they don't get mad so easy they will not do anything bad and drastic. '
1. What do you learn about the main character, Martin, in the exposition? Martin is thin, weak, and bad at sports, he gets bullied and is bad at sports. Martin is also afraid of the elevator. 2. Judging only by line 175, the climax of the story, is Martin in danger? Explain your opinion. No, because all they information I get is a lady says his name laughs and stops the elevator, that is not too weird or creepy, it could just be his friend. .3. What event sets the rising action in motion? When he breaks his leg, it seems at that point like he is safe now but just the opposite happens. 4. What details in lines 121-139 suggest a conflict between father and son? Martin confides in his father trying to tell him about something that was weird to him. His father calls him afraid with total assurance and says what am I going to do with you and Marvin cries about that 5. In lines 145-160 the story takes an unexpected turn. How might this development affect Martin's conflict? Well he breaks his leg so he thinks he wont have to ride the elevator alone so he won't see the lady. He thinks he is safe and he relaxes but he actually isn't safe... |
