,''So far I think Bruiser is a very Interesting book, though I still have not gotten to the meat of the story it is still good and a lot has happened thus far. My prediction Is when Brewster gets close to someone he takes away their pain. He massaged Bronte's ankle and it became find but he limped for a week. Tennyson had scabs on his knuckles, But they disappeared in a day, and then Brewster had them. my question is what causes this ability of Brewster's to become a very bad thing? does he take away a severe injury? I think Brewster is actually a really good person but he cant get close to anyone because of his ability, so he doesn't even talk to anyone and that's why he is so misunderstood. so far I think it is a very good book and I can't wait to keep reading.

For my spring break this year I really didn't do very much, I didn't leave the town once. A couple things I did do were, go to gymnastics practice, watch Netflix and you tube at home, and I went to hang out with 4 of my friends. Overall I really did not do very much at all, but I still did enjoy my break because normally I have no free time but over break I had plenty of nothing to do (yes I meant to phrase it that way).
One story that is actually worth telling is that I had the state competition for gymnastics over break.I went to the venue for the meet and my team and warmed up and stretched and got ready to compete. we did the first event which was rings and I did alright but not great. the next event was floor and when were warming up I did my 3rd pass, my back handspring back hand spring back tuck, but the thing was I got really high in my back tuck so I got confused in the air and stopped my rotation, so I put my arms out so I didn't face plant, but my left arm hyper extended pretty bad. I iced the arm for a bit but eventually my coach told me I had to scratch the rest of the meet because of my arm. So for because of this I barely got to compete at state. State cup 2k16 is where this event took place, my soccer team and I had been doing very well so far in the tournament(I was a starter on defense. We were seeded 7 which meant we had to play the number one team in our first game. Obviously being number one and all they were heavily favored, but that game we play well, we played better then we had In a while we even had the lead at one point, but we ended up settling for a tie, which was fine with us, It majorly improved the chances of us making semis.
We won our next game though the score was close 3-2 I believe. We needed win in our final game to have a realistic chance of moving on. We started the game badly we went down to goals to none, but then we rallied and put three in the back of the net, 3-2 was the score, everything the rode on the fact that we needed to hold on to our lead for the rest of the game so we could advance. They had a breakaway, it was just me between their guy and the goal/goal keeper, if I didn't Make a stop right then chances are our season was over. The guy came at me, he was probably about a foot taller then me and he was the other teams best player. That didn't scare me though all that was in my head is I needed to make a stop. I went at him I made a great tackle, I had done it I had stopped him, but the sequence was not over yet. when I tackled him he fall on me, as I went down with him my hand got trapped under neath my body, and I rolled over all four fingers on my right hand with my entire body weight plus some of his. all for fingers broke and two of them looked disgusting and out of place. As soon as it happened I starting screaming, it was the worst pain I had ever had and probably ever will have in my life. They put me on a golf cart so we could drive to our car, all the while I was screaming and everyone on the other fields were turning to look at me. It took twenty minutes to get to the hospital the whole time I was screaming agony. when they finally got there they gave me pain meds but told me that they couldn't reset the bones their that day, so me and my dad drove an hour and a half to get back to Iowa City so they could set my bones. eventually they put me on anastisia and set the bones. in total in took like ten hours from the injury till the time they place the bones. My team ended up getting second in state and I was a hero. Things I learned from what i have learned so far from the book Looking Like The Enemy. I learned that these camps have horrible temperature conditions, in the day it is extremely hot, it in can be in the 100's, and at night its extremely cold, the worst part is they don't have heating or air conditioning. another thing about the camp is at random times in the day they get hit with sand storms, during those all the internees have to hold their breath and cover their face with their hands and the sand would gets in their barracks. speaking of their barracks, they were horrible, each family had a space in the barrack called an "apartment" but there were like 10 of those in a small barrack and there was barely anything between the " apartments" so you could here everything from other "apartments".
So to describe some of the characters lives in my book I will start will Mary, before the internment camps she had a very happy life she fit, she had friends, and lots of time with her family. Her family had a good income, they owned a farmed, it was a good community with traditions and loving friendships, but after they were were put in internment camps Mary was depressed, she missed her old life, she didn't want to be their, she couldn't find the best in what happened, she hated nearly everything there. In terms of the rest of Mary's family, they didn't like it but they were all coping better, they were not as depressed and as sad as Mary. My reaction/reflection from what I have read: I think the fact that the government had the power to relocate this many people is kind of bogus, I don't think that should be allowed. what is happening in the book reminds me of whats happening right now with trump and the Muslim ban. In both instances its the government discriminating against a group of people and keeping them away from their homes or potential homes. Its just not fair in both instances. also in the camps the conditions are horrible and if they are going to take people a way from their home they should at least give them good living conditions. Questions I have: What was the tipping point that caused Franklin Roosevelt to make the evacuation order? How did the soldiers who guarded the camps feel about this whole thing? How many people tried to escape the camps? Did any of them die trying? Did Japan know what was happening in America? What did they think of it. What percentage of the US population were opposed to the evacuation"? If I were the president the first issue I would work on is fixing North Korea, I would have to stop the Kim dynasty and put in a not corrupt leader. How would I take control of the country? I would start with a network of spies who try to get close to Kim Jung Un, once that happens they get full clearance. they find the missile launch codes and we disable their nukes, then we nuke the capital and go in and take control of the country. Doing that is important because right now North Korea poses a threat to nuke countries in the Middle East (Israel) and soon they will have the capabilities to nuke us.
Next I would try to combat racism against Muslims. I would make public displays will a Muslim person to show people that not all Muslims are bad and its not fair to group them all together. The reason I would do this is because as a Jew we have been put through something similar, and we kind of are, so I feel for them, and I want to fix the injustice. The final thing I would do is find jobs for struggling Americans. We would find Industries where we needed more of a task force and get these homeless or poor people jobs that pay so they can support themselves and family. This is important to me because I think it is very sad to see homeless people and I want to give them the life they deserve. During my winter break I went to The Big Apple, NYC. Going to NYC was a present from my parents, I stayed with my aunt who lives in NYC for five days, because no one else in my family went, my aunt and I did whatever I wanted. I flew to NYC as an unacompanied minor, that means no one flew with me. When I got there the first thing my aunt and I did was get a good ol slice of New York pizza. It was really good probably the best pizza I have ever had, it was also the best slice of the entire trip.
After we did that my aunt and I Went to explore the city, we walked all around the city and saw the giant buildings It was amazing for me considering I live in Iowa. we continued walking but that time we went to Central Park. We walked around the beautiful park. I did some parkour on rocks and things, the people who saw it thought it was pretty cool. After that we went to a food truck in the park that sold gourmet waffles, they were amzing. Thats just part of the first day stay tuned. I read an article that we were assigned to read in class. It was abut life skills 18-year-olds need to have, they were things such as, talk to strangers, make money, work around the house etc. Each Idea on the list also had a crutch or the reason why the 18-year-olds don´t already know or why it doesn´t come easy. All of the crutches were the parents trying to make things easier for the kids so the kids (when they turn 18) don´t know how to do the things themselves.
If I could live in a game I would live in one of those Papa Louie computer games where the guy has to make different yummy foods but, (plot twist) I would be one of the people who orders food. I would be one of the skinny ones so I could eat those foods and not get fat. Also I would just always be unhappy with what the person who made it so I would pay llike nothing, and could be super pissy and make him feel like he´s bad. I would cut the line too because i´m a savage. That is what game I would live in and why.
